Warranty and RMA
Five (5) Year Limited Warranty & RMA
Effective Date: August 8, 2026
At Truxarmor Inc. ("Truxarmor," "we," "our," or "us"), we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. This Limited Warranty outlines the terms and conditions applicable to Truxarmor products purchased from Truxarmor or an authorized Truxarmor dealer.
Please read this Limited Warranty carefully before purchasing, installing, or using any Truxarmor product.
1. Limited Warranty Coverage
Truxarmor warrants to the original retail purchaser that Truxarmor products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use and service for a period of five (5) years from the original date of retail purchase.
This Limited Warranty applies only to products that:
- Are purchased new from Truxarmor or an authorized Truxarmor dealer;
- Are installed on the vehicle for which they were designed;
- Are properly installed in accordance with Truxarmor's installation instructions;
- Are properly maintained during the warranty period; and
- Remain owned by the original retail purchaser.
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable.
2. Truxarmor's Warranty Obligation
If Truxarmor determines that a product is defective in materials or workmanship during the Warranty Period, Truxarmor will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective product or component;
- Replace the defective product or component with a new or refurbished product of equal or comparable value; or
- Refund the original purchase price if repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable.
The remedy provided by Truxarmor under this Limited Warranty is the purchaser's exclusive remedy.
Replacement products or repaired components are covered only for the remainder of the original Warranty Period and do not extend or restart the original warranty.
3. Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
- Improper installation;
- Improper maintenance or failure to maintain the product;
- Failure to follow installation or maintenance instructions;
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper use;
- Normal wear and tear;
- Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, fading, discoloration, or weathering that does not affect product performance;
- Vehicle accidents, collisions, theft, vandalism, fire, flood, hail, or other acts of nature;
- Road hazards, flying debris, rocks, or similar impacts;
- Racing, competition, commercial abuse, or off-road use beyond the intended design of the product;
- Alteration, modification, welding, drilling, cutting, painting, powder coating, or unauthorized repair of the product;
- Exposure to corrosive chemicals, harsh cleaners, solvents, petroleum-based products, or unapproved cleaning agents;
- Improper storage, transportation, or handling after delivery; or
- Installation on vehicles or applications for which the product was not designed.
Any unauthorized modification of the product voids this Limited Warranty.
4. Vehicle Modifications
This Limited Warranty does not apply if the product failure is caused by vehicle modifications that materially affect the fit, operation, or intended use of the product, including but not limited to structural modifications, altered bed rails, custom fabrication, or other modifications beyond the original vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
5. Product Maintenance
Products exposed to road salt, de-icing chemicals, coastal environments, industrial fallout, or other corrosive conditions should be cleaned regularly using mild soap and water.
Failure to properly maintain the product may result in corrosion or deterioration that is not covered under this Limited Warranty.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, petroleum-based chemicals, or other cleaning products not recommended by Truxarmor.
6. Shipping Damage
Products damaged during shipping must be reported to the delivering carrier and Truxarmor within a reasonable time after delivery.
Shipping damage is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered under this Limited Warranty.
7. Warranty Claims
To submit a warranty claim, please contact Truxarmor Customer Service before returning any product.
Warranty claims must include:
- Original proof of purchase;
- Photographs showing the claimed defect;
- Vehicle year, make, and model;
- Description of the issue; and
- Any additional information reasonably requested by Truxarmor to evaluate the claim.
Truxarmor may require inspection of the product before approving a warranty claim.
8. Return Authorization (RMA)
Products may not be returned without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") issued by Truxarmor.
Products returned without an authorized RMA may be refused and returned to the sender.
9. Shipping Responsibility
For approved warranty claims submitted within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date, Truxarmor may, at its discretion, provide prepaid return shipping.
After thirty (30) days, the customer is responsible for shipping the product to Truxarmor for warranty evaluation unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If a returned product is determined not to be covered under this Limited Warranty, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
10. Product Inspection
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and evaluation by Truxarmor.
Truxarmor reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether a product qualifies for warranty coverage under the terms of this Limited Warranty.
Where practical, Truxarmor may replace individual components instead of replacing the complete product.
11. Product Design Changes
Truxarmor reserves the right to modify, improve, or discontinue any product design at any time without obligation to update or replace products previously manufactured or sold.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Truxarmor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, installation, use, or inability to use any Truxarmor product, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, loss of business, towing charges, rental vehicle expenses, installation or removal labor, or other related costs.
Truxarmor's total liability under this Limited Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the applicable Warranty Period stated in this Limited Warranty.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
14. No Other Warranties
No dealer, distributor, retailer, installer, salesperson, or representative is authorized to modify, expand, or extend this Limited Warranty or make any representation or warranty on behalf of Truxarmor unless expressly authorized in writing by Truxarmor.
15. Governing Law
This Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
16. Dispute Resolution
The parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussions.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue any rights or remedies available under applicable law. Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits any rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.
17. Severability
If any provision of this Limited Warranty is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Warranty
This Limited Warranty constitutes the complete and exclusive warranty provided by Truxarmor with respect to the covered products and supersedes any prior oral or written warranties or representations regarding those products.
19. Your Legal Rights
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Need Help With a Truxarmor Product?
We're here to help.
If you believe your Truxarmor product has a manufacturing defect, missing component, or other warranty-related issue, please follow the steps below to submit a claim.
Providing complete information, photographs, and vehicle details when you first contact us will help our team review your claim as quickly as possible.
Step 1 โ Have Your Purchase Information Ready
All warranty claims require proof of purchase.
Please have the following available:
- Original sales receipt, invoice, or order confirmation;
- Truxarmor order number, if purchased directly from us;
- Date of purchase;
- Name of the authorized Truxarmor dealer, if applicable; and
- Product name or part number.
Please do not ship a product to Truxarmor without first receiving authorization from our Customer Service team.
Step 2 โ Provide Your Vehicle Information
For vehicle-specific products, please provide:
- Vehicle year;
- Make;
- Model;
- Trim, if applicable;
- Cab configuration;
- Bed length;
- Bed configuration;
- Relevant factory options; and
- Any aftermarket accessories or modifications that may affect product fitment.
Providing accurate vehicle information helps us determine whether the issue involves the product, installation, vehicle application, or compatibility.
Step 3 โ Describe the Problem
Please provide a brief but detailed explanation of the issue.
Tell us:
- What happened;
- When the issue began;
- Where on the product the issue is located;
- Whether the product was functioning normally before the issue occurred;
- Whether anything changed immediately before the issue appeared; and
- Any troubleshooting or adjustments already attempted.
The more information you provide, the easier it will be for our team to evaluate the issue.
Step 4 โ Take Photos
Photos are required for most warranty claims.
Please provide clear photographs showing:
- The entire product installed on the vehicle;
- The specific area where the problem exists;
- Close-up photographs of the claimed defect;
- Mounting points;
- Brackets, clamps, rails, or hardware associated with the issue;
- Vehicle bed or mounting area where relevant;
- Product label, serial number, or part number, if applicable; and
- Any other photographs requested by Truxarmor.
Please take photographs in good lighting and make sure the issue is clearly visible.
Do not remove, modify, drill, cut, repair, or discard the affected component before your claim has been reviewed unless Truxarmor instructs you to do so.
Step 5 โ Video May Be Requested
For certain issues, photographs may not adequately demonstrate the problem.
Truxarmor may request a short video showing issues such as:
- Movement;
- Latching problems;
- Opening or closing problems;
- Alignment;
- Excessive play;
- Unusual noise;
- Fitment concerns; or
- Other operating conditions.
Video may help us diagnose the issue without requiring the complete product to be returned.
Step 6 โ Submit Your Warranty Claim
Send your warranty claim information to:
Email: info@truxarmor.com
Please use the subject line:
WARRANTY CLAIM โ [Your Order Number]
Include:
- Full name;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- Shipping address;
- Order number;
- Proof of purchase;
- Product name or part number;
- Vehicle information;
- Description of the problem;
- Required photographs; and
- Video, if applicable.
What Happens Next?
Once your claim is received, the Truxarmor Customer Service team will review the information provided.
We may:
- Approve the claim based on the information provided;
- Request additional photographs;
- Request additional vehicle or installation information;
- Request a video;
- Provide troubleshooting or adjustment instructions;
- Send a replacement component;
- Request inspection of the product; or
- Issue a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") if the product or component needs to be returned.
Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically mean that the product must be returned.
Please wait for instructions from Truxarmor before shipping anything back to us.
Replacement Components
Many product issues can be resolved without returning the complete product.
When appropriate, Truxarmor may provide individual replacement components such as:
- Hardware;
- Clamps;
- Brackets;
- Latches;
- Seals;
- Fasteners;
- Rails;
- Hinges; or
- Other serviceable components.
Truxarmor reserves the right to determine the appropriate warranty remedy in accordance with the Truxarmor Five (5) Year Limited Warranty.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
If Truxarmor determines that a product or component must be returned, we will issue an RMA number and provide return instructions.
Do not return merchandise without an RMA.
Products returned without authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.
Your RMA number should be clearly referenced with the return shipment according to the instructions provided by Truxarmor.
Preparing an RMA Return
If you are instructed to return a product:
- Follow the return instructions provided by Truxarmor.
- Include all requested components.
- Package the product securely to prevent shipping damage.
- Remove or cover unrelated shipping labels where appropriate.
- Clearly reference the RMA number as instructed.
- Retain your shipping receipt and tracking information.
Truxarmor is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate return packaging except where otherwise required by law.
RMA Does Not Automatically Mean Warranty Approval
Issuance of an RMA authorizes the product to be returned for evaluation.
An RMA does not constitute final approval of a warranty claim.
Returned products may be inspected to determine whether the issue qualifies for coverage under the Truxarmor Five (5) Year Limited Warranty.
Warranty Inspection
During inspection, Truxarmor may evaluate:
- The claimed defect;
- Product condition;
- Installation;
- Mounting locations;
- Evidence of modification;
- Evidence of impact or accident damage;
- Maintenance;
- Corrosion;
- Missing components;
- Improper use; and
- Other conditions relevant to determining warranty coverage.
If the product qualifies for warranty coverage, Truxarmor will provide the applicable remedy under the Truxarmor Limited Warranty.
Approved Warranty Claims
Depending on the circumstances, an approved warranty claim may be resolved by:
- Technical assistance;
- Product adjustment;
- Replacement hardware;
- Replacement component;
- Product repair;
- Replacement product; or
- Refund of the applicable purchase price when Truxarmor determines that repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable.
The appropriate remedy will be determined in accordance with the Truxarmor Five (5) Year Limited Warranty.
Claims Within 30 Days
For products determined to have a covered manufacturing defect within thirty (30) days of purchase, Truxarmor may provide prepaid return shipping where a return is required.
Shipping arrangements will be provided after the claim has been reviewed and approved.
Do not independently ship a product and expect reimbursement unless Truxarmor has authorized the shipment in advance.
Claims After 30 Days
For warranty claims submitted more than thirty (30) days after purchase, shipping responsibilities will be handled according to the Truxarmor Five (5) Year Limited Warranty and applicable law.
Please contact Truxarmor before shipping any product.
Non-Warranty Issues
The Truxarmor Limited Warranty generally does not cover issues resulting from conditions such as:
- Improper installation;
- Accidents or collisions;
- Road hazards;
- Misuse or abuse;
- Unauthorized modification;
- Normal wear and tear;
- Improper maintenance;
- Chemical damage;
- Environmental corrosion caused by neglect;
- Theft or vandalism; or
- Use outside the product's intended application.
Please review the complete Truxarmor Five (5) Year Limited Warranty for all coverage terms, exclusions, limitations, and consumer rights.
Shipping Damage
If your product arrived damaged from shipping, please contact Truxarmor as soon as reasonably possible.
Shipping damage should be reported separately from a manufacturing warranty claim.
Please provide:
- Order number;
- Photographs of the shipping carton;
- Photographs of the shipping label;
- Photographs of the damaged product;
- Photographs of the pallet, if applicable; and
- Delivery receipt or Bill of Lading, if applicable.
Do not discard the packaging until the shipping claim has been resolved.
Please review our Shipping & Delivery Policy for additional information regarding damaged shipments.
Missing Parts
If your new product is missing hardware or components, please contact Truxarmor Customer Service.
Provide:
- Order number;
- Product or part number;
- Description of the missing component; and
- Photographs of the product and package contents if requested.
You generally do not need to submit a complete warranty return simply because a component is missing from a new package.
Purchased From an Authorized Truxarmor Dealer?
If you purchased your product from an authorized Truxarmor dealer, please retain your original receipt or invoice.
Truxarmor may request information regarding the original seller when processing a warranty claim.
Products purchased through a dealer remain subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of the Truxarmor Limited Warranty.
Refunds for purchases made directly through an independent dealer generally must be processed by the original seller.

Having everything ready helps us process your claim faster.
